Dr. Deon L. Tolliver is a family medicine doctor.
He earned his Doctor of Medicine at Meharry in May 2013 and completed his family medicine residency and a Primary Care Adolescent Medicine Fellowship at Meharry as well. He also earned a Master of Science in Public Health/Health Services Administration from Meharry and is a graduate of Mississippi State University with a B.S. in biology.
Before practicing primary care, he previously worked as a Biology Professor at Volunteer State Community College. Dr. Tolliver has a few publications that highlight his passion for education. He is a former board member of the National Black Leadership Initiative on Cancer in Nashville, is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and Alpha Omega Alpha.
