Dr. Corey Batson, M.D.

Corey Batson M.D. began his medical education at Xavier University in New Orleans, Louisiana where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree at Meharry Medical College, Nashville Tennessee and completed his Family Medicine residency training at the affiliated Nashville General Hospital.

For over a decade, Dr. Batson has made Nashville his home. He is an active faculty member at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine working as a clinician and instructor to future practitioners. Dr. Batson is also a diplomate of the American Academy of Family Physicians and is current with his professional licensures. He is a member and active participant of multiple professional organizations such as the American Society of Addiction Medicine, 100 Black Men of America, Inc. and Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.

Dr. Batson has a true passion for medicine and is committed to prioritizing the wellness of his community. He emphasizes forming a genuine relationship with his patients as he guides them through their medical journeys. Away from medicine, Dr. Batson enjoys reading, traveling and most importantly, spending time with his three wonderful children.

Kelvisha Davis FNP-BC, Nurse Practitioner

Kelvisha Davis is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She has over 10 years of clinical experience combined in Primary Care and Acute Care. She completed her Bachelor of Arts in Biology at Fisk University in Nashville, TN and then earned a Master of Science in Biology at Tennessee State University in Nashville, TN. She accomplished her Master of Science in Nursing at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. She holds a national certification with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
